Silver Thistle Silver Bracelet
The Silver Thistle design is the natural evolution of Alabaster Industries’ iconic Silver Hawk, Dove, and Sinew watches. The foundation of this language is the overlap between the biological and alien, taking notes from the kingdom of flora, fauna, and fungi.
The conceptual inspiration for this watch is Aposematism, a defensive protection found in nature that warns would-be predators that there is more than meets the eye. The Silver Thistle creates this for the wearer with a spiky, intimidating, and beautiful exterior that protects its purpose and meaning from easy or passive digestion.
As with the Hawk and Dove, one claw extends on to the crystal to mark each hour. Behind the first row there is a second set of claws, set like rows of replacement teeth in a shark’s mouth. This second row of claws also splits the hour in half.
